People who enter into the multimedia field typically come from either a tech/IT background, or an artistic background, in my case it was the former, my initial interest was in hardware, at this time I began pulling apart family computers and finding out how to re-assemble them. (much to the dismay and inconvenience of my parents). 
 
As I grew my attention found various operating systems to learn about like Linux etc, after a detour into Open source which lasted a couple of years  found my tool of choice... a Mac, and since then my interest in tearing things to bits has dissipated as computers took their rightful place as a tool to be used, not a toy to be played with... this however does not mean I no longer play with the Tech I once loved so much... 
 
Now, thanks to the work I do, my attention has again shifted, this time to more creative things, when the opportunity arises I now spend time in the world of Digital Photography, I can often be found dSLR in hand, wandering abound trying to set up a creative angle for a nature shot, or playing with the results in Photoshop, to give it that little extra style. 
 
Lastly my online pursuits, as a communicator, i cant help myself, I love to stay connected, twitter, MSN, email all keep me up-to-date, but nothing is so dear as my blog, to crystallize my own thoughts...
